Yoga and Ayurveda – two sister traditions from India – which help people to live a healthier, more conscious and happier life. Both traditions have existed side by side for more than 5,000 years and they are becoming more and more popular nowadays as well, in order to switch off from everyday life and to recharge our batteries. We are grateful that our Sri Sri Ayurveda Offenburg offers are hosted once or twice a month in an institute which focuses on yoga and meditation.
The Sri Sri Ayurveda Offenburg Centre in the heart of the city of Offenburg provides bright rooms in a beautiful and cosy ambience, in which we offer both our Ayurveda talks for beginners and Ayurveda experienced people, as well our holistic nutrition and lifestyle consultations according to Ayurvedic tradition.
In the same venue, also our sister organisation in Offenburg, The Art of Living Offenburg, offers introductory courses as well as weekend workshops with efficient breathing techniques, yoga, meditation and yogic knowledge.
The venue of Sri Sri Ayurveda Offenburg is located here: Gerberstraße 13

Can the term “health” be explained with the absence of disease? Or is there much more behind it? Exactly this question she asked the Ayurvedic science about 5000 years ago and found a comprehensive and multi-layered answer. Ayurveda is a system of traditional health care and comes from the Indian subcontinent. It is considered the oldest life science worldwide.
Ayurveda is based on herbalism and is first and foremost concerned with preventing diseases and not waiting for the onset of symptoms. For those already suffering, she offers numerous measures for successful treatment. According to ayurvedic knowledge, effective prophylaxis of the disease can be achieved through a diet and lifestyle tailored to the individual in order ultimately to achieve physical, mental and emotional harmony.
Ayurveda strives to recognize and define the essence of life, as well as the different levels of health. Life therefore represents a deep symbiosis of body, mind, senses and soul. Additional importance was given to Ayurvedic health science through official recognition by the WHO (World Health Organization).
Health is therefore more than the absence of symptoms or illness. Being healthy is more than just consuming organic food or exercising. Unfortunately, conventional medicine lacks insight into this holistic picture of health. According to Ayurvedic knowledge, being healthy means being in harmony with oneself and the world around you. Being healthy is a goal and Ayurveda accompanies us on the way there.
Chaithanya had been interested in Ayurveda since her early youth, and even then she knew intuitively that she would deal with it later.
In the meantime, she has completed the intensive study of Ayurvedic health publications for more than 10 years. In this way, she has acquired both theoretical and practical great knowledge.
Your consultations are currently also taking place in the Ayurveda Center.
Before she started her master’s degree (M.S.c.) in clinical psychology, she successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery at the Sri Sri College of Ayurveda Science and Research in Bangalore (India). After completing her master’s thesis in clinical psychology and indigenous systems, she completed a program in yoga and Ayurvedic psychology at Rishikesh (DevSanskrit University).
Chaithanya has been living in Germany for some time and offers her Ayurvedic knowledge in the form of consultations and lectures. This is made possible by Sri Sri Tattva GmbH.
