Since more than 5,000 years, through practicing yoga and Ayurveda, people have found a way to move towards a holistic healthy and happy life. Since thousands of years, both traditions are going hand in hand and since the last few decades, they are becoming more and more popular in the western world. Not only this, they have even become indispensable in today’s society.
Our Sri Sri Ayurveda Mannheim, the “Musikwiese Mannheim”, does not only offer music, but also combines Ayurveda and Yoga under one roof.
Here, we work together with a local therapist, who provides Ayurvedic massages to her clients in one of the beautifully furnished rooms. On two days per month, we offer our nutrition and lifestyle consultations – which are based entirely on the holistic Ayurvedic tradition – in the same Ayurveda room. In addition, we also organise lectures on various Ayurvedic topics, which give the participants an insight into the holistic world of Ayurveda.
Our local sister organization, “The Art of Living Mannheim”, is also active in Mannheim. As a healthy lifestyle often involves the practice of stress management techniques, in addition to the recommendations of the Ayurvedic consultations, our clients can learn effective breathing techniques, meditation, and yoga with the Art of Living.
The Sri Sri Ayurveda Mannheim is located here: Praxis Ingrid Sälzer, R6 7, 68161 Mannheim
Our Ayurveda Expert is available for individual nutrition and lifestyles consultations every month for about 2 days in Mannheim, as well as in Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt and other nearby cities.
Our venue offers talks and workshops about Ayurveda and Health, Mind and Meditation Sessions, and much more.
Yoga sessions are also available here. We also recommend to visit the yoga classes and meditation sessions and breathing technique courses of Art of Living in Mannheim.
Ayurveda is the oldest health science in the world. The holistic system for disease prevention and treatment originating from India has already been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), which further underlines the importance of this unique life science. The principles of Ayurveda determine the question of what health really is and what makes a healthy person around.
Ayurveda is already used in the prevention of diseases. The focus is on providing personalized lifestyle recommendations and dietary habits. The point is that not only is the body free from disease, but that a person attains mental, emotional and physical balance.
The basis for these recommendations is based on millennia-old knowledge, on the question of what life is at all and of what dimensions it is composed. Ayurveda is based on the knowledge that life is a symbiosis of body, senses, mind and soul.
The path to health is different for everyone and can not be achieved simply by eating certain foods, exercising regularly or not having any medical conditions. True health means being in harmony with oneself and the world and the people around us. This way is certainly not easy. But Ayurveda offers a competent and comprehensive accompaniment to individual health and personal well-being.
Alternative medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda are inextricably linked to Niranjana’s life. In addition to her in-depth theoretical knowledge, she was able to gain extensive clinical experience at the state-recognized Ayurvedic Institute for Postgraduates in Himachal Pradesh (India).
Niranjana has always been inspired by the idea of using Ayurveda and alternative forms of therapy to actively strengthen health and well-being. With this vision in mind, she finally obtained her master’s degree from the WHO-recognized international Medicina Alternative Institute (Sri Lanka).
Through her work as a vaidya / wellness expert, she has travelled to many places around the world. These include the USA, Central America, numerous cities in Europe, Bermuda and even the Caribbean.
Niranjana has focused on various types of pain, stress, depression, digestive tract discomfort, anxiety, insomnia, and migraines, as well as other lifestyle-related health issues.
Niranjana’s patients are always grateful for her competent and empathetic nature.
