As holistic traditions since more than 5000 years, both Yoga and Ayurveda help people to find a healthy and happy lifestyle. Therefore, we are very happy that our Sri Sri Ayurveda Berlin venue is located within a holistic yoga centre itself.
The Art of Living Happiness Center Berlin is located very centrally, but idylical and calm, in the heart of Schöneberg – near Viktoria-Luise-Platz. The yoga centre was taken over from the former owner in summer 2019 and nicely renovated by the local yoga team itself.
In one big yoga room (and one small side room), The Art of Living Happiness Center offers regular introductory talks and classes on meditation, yoga and breathing techniques as well as weekend courses to relax and recharge from the everyday life.
Once in a month, in one of the smaller side rooms or even in the big yoga room, we are offering our holistic Ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle consultations as well as Ayurveda introductory talks. From time to time, one of our local therapists also offers her Ayurvedic massages in the yoga centre.
The Sri Sri Ayurveda venue in Berlin is located at: Art of Living Happiness Center, Regensburger Str. 5, 10777 Berlin (Schöneberg).
Our Ayurveda Expert is available for individual nutrition and lifestyles consultations for 1-2 days per month in Berlin.
Our venue offers talks about Ayurveda and Health, Mind and Meditation Sessions, and much more.
Weekly yoga classes and meditation sessions, breathing technique courses and silence retreats are also available here.
Every person, every body and every spirit is different. While conventional medicine usually only intervenes when diseases have developed and then provides similar treatment for all people with the same condition, Ayurveda has a completely different approach.
As early as 5000 years ago, Ayurvedic science was devoted to the question “What is health?”. The answer to this question is very complex, according to the Indian health science. To gain health, the uniqueness of each person must be considered. Ayurveda puts the focus on the prevention of diseases based on individualized recommendations for nutrition, exercise and the design of everyday life. If a disease already exists, is treated here individually.
Ayurveda is not only recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) thanks to its holistic approach. Indian traditional health care defines the essence of life and the dimensions of health. According to Ayurvedic knowledge, life is an interplay of mind, senses and body.
Even if we feed on healthy foods, move a lot and do not appear sick, it does not necessarily mean that we are really healthy. Health is much more than just the absence of disease. Health is the goal at the end of a long journey. Ayurveda gives us a guide so that we can successfully complete this path.
